Hey Izzy,
My Dad used to have a tin plate hangin in his office...here is what it said"
"And when the one Great Scorer Comes to Score against your name...It
matters not that you won or lost, but how you played the game"
We all go through life pretty much under the "same rules" It's tought to lose friends or wife's of friends, but the in the end when we meet the almighty it pretty much matters how we played the game.
Thinkin of U,

I agree with you Izz and I'm so sorry for your loss - it's so sad. As I get ready for this upcoming trip I will remember this and remind my trip partners.

Thank you for sharing this and reminding us.

Talk to you in a week :)

I just got back from a funeral. A good friend of mine lost his wife to cancer. They never complained. But they asked that each day we should count our blessings. And we should. So every day for them, please take a look around and see how good we have things. And take time to appreciate the wonders of nature and the world we live in.

I agree, count your blessings. I've been to a few funerals of people close to me in the last few years, and boy does it change your perspective.

It's appreciating the little things and having the little diversions that help you go on.

I stumbled upon BWCA.COM during such a time. It's been a nice diversion since - it brings me to my happy place.

Try to remember the real, and good purposes of life, it ain't found on television.
It isn't important what you do for a living, what's important is HOW you live.
Live Life

Sorry Iz for your loss.

Mae West had a somewhat similar quote:
"It's not the men in your life that count, it's the life in your men"
