They said there was a family with some young kids around the portage at the same time, so they might have picked it up or it is still out there. If anyone finds it, please contact Voyageur North at 218 365 3251. |

A wild shot but worth a try....I lost my Fitbit One (small pedometer that clips on your belt) some where between the southern campsite on North Temperance Lake and the east facing island campsite on Long Island Lake. This means it is probably somewhere on the North Temp Lake portage to Sitka lake, the Sitka Lake to Cherokee Lake portage (still a dozy), the portage going north out of Cherokee Lake to Gordon Lake and then the portage north out of Gordon Lake to Long Island River. If you happen to read this and have found my Fitbit One please reply to this message. Many thanks, UP Boy |

Let me know if it's yours and I'll do what i can to get it back to you" That's insane!!!! I always bdb the net under the stern seat but the balance was off so I decided to carry it on my trip across with the pack that day and then left it behind somewhere because putting it back in the canoe wasn't part of the normal routine. Was it by the big tree blocking the one portage landing? I noticed it was missing when we got to Bower Trout and there was no turning back at that point. Any luck on your daytrip to Swan? I live in Big Lake. |

Sawbill Outfitters has it with a note of where it was found. Hope you get it back! Also, if you left a knife on Frost last week, tell me the campsite and the knife, and I'll get it to you. I unfortunately forgot my knife, so it was a welcome find. |

Probably used two pads to get extra height for kayak portaging. I found it on the shoreline far from the landing, so I'm not sure how it got there. Let me know if you are missing a nice yoke and two sets of pads. I'm in the Minneapolis area and would be happy to reunite it with the owner. |

I lost a pair of black prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses with Crokies on them (took them off in the rain and must have fallen out of my jacket) between the portage coming into Indiana from Wind Bay, going through Good Lake and the creek coming out into Hoist Bay. Most likely on a portage or while loading. Not holding out a lot of hope Ken |

Disappeared from vehicle somewhere between the Southernmost landing on Saganaga and home in Northern IL, 8/13-14. I figure its gone and somebody has a new handheld. Only piece of 'important' data on it I'd like recovered is the tracks of my most recent trip. Thankfully I had offloaded the Philmont data before the BW trip. |

Hi I had not hoped to find my lost paddle. I'll have to get with my boy and review the map. He lost it in heavy seas while lost with three novice teenage girls on Sea Gull within a day of 7/15. I know they paddled counter-clockwise around Three Mile Island instead of following me as they had started : straight north from our camp site on Fishhook Island through the river shortcut to Sag. With the spare buried under packs, the westerly winds drove them from it so they could not find it - I can still barely believe it cuz I went out alone after them in a wide aluminum boat and did alright. I'll check through my receipts cuz I didn't pay attention to brand. If it's a 52" bent shaft that Scheele's stocked in '14, then it could be my old one that I sorely miss. I'll try to find more info... Very kind of you to post it like this. I sincerely appreciate the help from the party camped at c0501 who beckoned them in, relayed my message to my lost kids, fixed their map so what they needed all on one side, and showed them where they were and needed to go to find me. Thank you, whoever you folks are! Not mine, thanks. Had to ask in case :-( |

Don't ask me how, don't know how I lost it...had it on paddling to the portage which was our pick up point for a tow back...took it off as we arrived about an hour early....never found it. If found, and returned to Seagull Outfitters, I get my $40 fee for lost gear credited back to me....thanks. |

Customer came in and between Fourtown & the 3 portages back to the Mudro parking lot, he lost his iPhone 6 Plus (the big one) in a bright green case that also has his wallet in it. Could also be in the parking lot, he noticed it missing once he got to VNO for their showers & to return the canoes. The name is Daniel Cevetello A phone number to call (his buddy) is 630 768 6993. Just missing today, within 4 hours from now (6:30 pm) Friday. Thanks for any help! Someone here found John's keys at the Lake One area 2 years ago, so thought this would be a good spot! |

hatchet When: Wednesday Aug 9th Location: somewhere between Ham Lake peninsula site and arriving at Rockwood Lodge via car. We had it when we packed up the final morning at our campsite. It was on the outside of a pack. We paddled out to the Cross Bay entry, packed up in the parking lot near the trees at the top of the stairs, showered at Tuscarora and then drove to Rockwood to spend the rest of the week in the cabin. We have no idea when it went missing - we noticed it gone when we left the Rockwood cabin. It isn't in or near the cabin we stayed in, Rockwood has already looked high and low for us. So... somewhere between Ham Lake and Tuscarora Lodge it went missing. |

"CO Darin Fagerman (Grand Marais) reports he found a map floating in an area lake. The map had secret fishing spots circled. The CO tried to look away but couldn?t help himself. The CO will return the map to the rightful owner, but the circled spots will remain in his mind. Please secure your paper and litter from blowing out of your boat as you never know what you may be giving up. " he is the CO in the grand marais/gunflint trail area. |

On June 7, 2016 my brother and I went in on entry point 16. We chose to take the 160 rod portage from Agnes to the Oyster river. We left my tackle bag/box and a dry box, that was clipped to the tackle bag/box, containing a camera. We noticed our error and I went back to retrieve my forgotten equipment. It was, of coarse, gone. The camera was red with "WELD" engraved on it. If you found it I would appreciate getting it back. I will gladly pay the shipping!! Dougin |

Went out at Lake One & looked between Lake 1 & 2, didn't find. Thought also could be between Rifle Lake and Lake 1. Please keep an eye (& ear) out for this key, otherwise they said they have to get a ride or tow truck to take car down to White Bear Lake where a dealership is. This board found John's keys at Lake One a few years ago, maybe the luck will hold for this nice family. |

Didn't notice it was gone until later and thought other persons in party in other canoes had it which were ahead of my canoe. Desperately need my MN fishing license and compass. I think the Fisher map has notes wrote on it about campsites and other information, so the map is more than a map to me (memories). Would appreciate it, if found, you would return to me (will pay for mailing fees). Plz contact me via email address. Thank you |
