Hey Barley! Trix and Zorro are doing good. Just super busy with work and everything else.. Planning another quick trip to the BW in a couple weeks, and then planning a weeks trip camping out in Montana in September.
I will be back in time for the fall wing campout. I wouldn't miss it! Hope to see you and Plums there. Bringing Alex too? It wouldn't be the same without him. :)

I'm hoping to make it Saturday afternoon/evening, but I've volunteered to take a kid duck hunting (by canoe of course) and not sure what this entails for time.
Kendra, I'm better at splitting wood than making food. Should I bring more campfire wood or do you have enough?

Won't be making it this year got into a bike wreck. A guy in an SUV took a left turn in front of me. Broke my back, pelvis, shattered my left wrist and broke the other one.im in a rehab / old folks home till I can learn how to walk agsin. If this isn't bad enough my son gets married on Sat I can't be there. I'm not allowed to put any weight on my legs it's gonna be like this for another month.3 months on my back sucks. So hoist a cold one cuss me once or twice but have a good time. Give my work wife Kris a hard time

My kids can't wait to hang out with their bwca kid friends. :) They also all have gift shirts that Jan gave them :( I'm going to bring a change of clothes for my kids because last year they all played in the well pump and were soaked all the way home. With the rain that is coming, I think they will also have their rain gear.. there is no keeping kids out of the rain

Might be down one kid, work and moving might throw a wrench in to his plans, not sure if were going to make the potluck need to be in Duluth by nine to pick are permit up for Sunday when we paddle in.

Bring whatever you'd like. I don't have a real good idea on exactly what dishes will be there . It usually works out. In the past if I remember correctly we've been heavy on the desserts. I'd plan fo 20 unless you want leftovers. We usually have plenty of food.

Kendra had to jump through a lot of hoops to be certified to bring wood there. You'd need to talk to her.

It was great to see and meet everyone there yesterday! Good to catch up with some good friends! Dropped off some leather work and ran. Glad the rain stopped for you all there. Canoe on the car and packed for trip up to Williams and Hall tomorrow!

Thanks to everyone on the Wingnight Committee for a great job reserving such a nice campsite, setting everything up, bringing wood and organizing everything.
Thanks also to Adam, Dicecupmaker and GrammaL for providing the prizes for the raffle.
Thanks to everyone that attended and brought food, donated money and signed the paddle for kanoes family and signed the get well card for jb in the wild.
I had a great time connecting with old friends and meeting new people. It's a great group of people I'm glad I know. All the food was so good. My favorites were the chicken wings, smoked ribs and the pumpkin dump cake.
BassPro69 arrived just as I was leaving so I missed the campfire Barooooooooooo I'm sure he did for Trix.
I wish I could have stayed for the rain and storm that was bearing down on the camp but I had to go home and post all the Wingnight photos!

Still in "maybe" mode for the potluck on Saturday. Big duckling has a soccer game in St. Michael at 1:00 and little duckling has a game in Becker but the schedule does not have a time listed yet. Hoping her game is in the morning and then we can go to wingnight straight from big duckling's game in St. Michael.
The ducklings would be excited to play w/ their wingnight friends.

Because of game times and locations it's going to be a divide and conquer day for our family. Big duckling and I will be coming over after her soccer game for the pot luck. Game is in St. Michael which we would have to drive through to get there anyways. How convenient is that :)
