Anyone know this area? I'm wondering if it's insane to do a 2 or 3 day trip in late October. Most reports (paddling.net) are pretty old. No outfitters to call.

Thanks box. I did do a trip last fall. There is a report here. Looking at a Lowes Lake entry and doing long "carry" to headwaters of Osewegatchie. And I'm sure I'll do some back packing around there.

Lowe's lake is a great place, we go in late September and the bugs are gone but the lake is still bearable. Beautiful
