I know that the shock tippets are popular with large fast fish, such as bonefish, but does anyone or has anyone tried them on pike? I guess it would make plenty of sense, but i have just never heard anything about them on freshwater species apart from muskie.

Outside of muskies, I've never seen the need up here. Pike just aren't that vicious most of the time.
