Several years ago I bought the Amok Bell Magic that rhedlund donated. The problem was it was in Virginia, I believe. Well, BWPaddler stepped up and said she'd be in the area and she'd be my canoe mule. She lives a couple hours from me and I drove up and picked it up from her. She hauled that canoe half way across the US! Someday I hope I can do something similar for someone.

I should be able to help you out. I'll be travelling from Dayton, OH to Ely, MN on Sunday Aug 6. I go up I-94 to Eau Claire then up 53 to Duluth.

Hi folks,
I'm buying Burney's Bell & trying to figure an easier way to get it north.
I'd be looking for a traveler that may be driving thru OH (N of Cincinnati) and thru WI that could fit another boat for a while. I'm just off HWY 53 in Chippewa Falls. I could also meet east or west of here.

I can offer to help out, as a backup plan. I am in the Indy area and follow the same route up as Brian. I would be coming through early, early Aug 4th.
