I've got a mint - and I mean mint - condition carbon fiber Bell Flashfire from the days before they changed the mold direction and made me look crosswise at every Bell made since. If you know what I'm talking about, we may have something to discuss. I've owned three Flashfires over the years and think they're all the boat a good paddler who knows how to pack should ever need for a BWCA getaway. My son has just purchased a house in Fairbanks, AK and I've decided to let go of this treasure to help him with some of the "first house" expenses we've all lived through. Good dad? I think so. He does too. I'm going to let this go down the road for $2200. Too much? I don't think so, at all. Methinks there will never be boats like this made again.
