I would love to have a blackgold / wood Flashfire. I wish I were in a place to afford one now. Though they don't come up for sale often, I know of two black / wood flashes that sold this year in the ballpark of this price. This one is a bit higher but if it really is "mint condition," that is a big deal to some buyers.

I have no vested interested and don't know the seller. All due respect to everyone, but some of these replies seem counter productive to the sale, which I took as an offer to this great community first.

Good pictures would help.

Agree. And he will not get 2200 for it. "

He may have better luck on the duplicate post, though.

Hi guys. I'm going to post this here first before I subject myself to the mouthbreathers on Craigslist. I really need this boat to go to someone who appreciates what they're looking at, hopefully a longtime Bell fanatic like me.

I've got a mint - and I mean mint - condition carbon fiber Bell Flashfire from the days before they changed the mold direction and made me look crosswise at every Bell made since. If you know what I'm talking about, we may have something to discuss.

I've owned three Flashfires over the years and think they're all the boat a good paddler who knows how to pack should ever need for a BWCA getaway.

My son has just purchased a house in Fairbanks, AK and I've decided to let go of this treasure to help him with some of the "first house" expenses we've all lived through. Good dad? I think so. He does too.

I'm going to let this go down the road for $2200. Too much? I don't think so, at all. Methinks there will never be boats like this made again. I can help with delivery (within a reasonable distance of Eau Claire, WI) if needed.

I will send pics to whoever contacts me (Steve) at 608-279-6455 and demonstrates they're seriously interested.

Thanks guys. Our BWCA.com family is a treasure. Anybody looking for a piece of Bell history?

"let it go" for $2200. Funny stuff. Maybe if it was a Magic. :-)

Apologies from the board for the negative comments. I don't think $2200 is unreasonable given the layup and mint condition, vs price of new similar boat - for the right buyer. But you are probably better off posting it with pictures, in as many places as possible, to find that very particular buyer. And, you'll want to do some comparison pricing to see where the market is. I do know most used solo boats sell for less than $2200, but 95% are cheaper layup, pretty scratched up, Camry/Accords, so it may be hard to compare 1:1. You may want to try craigslist to cast a wide enough net to find the right buyer.
