bronxpaddler	11/26/2017 03:22PM   Sorry for the delay. . . . It measures about 5'4" long while laying on the floor (from tip of "toe" to tip of the "hood"). But I don't think it "fits" someone that tall comfortably. My son, for example, is nine years old and 4'5". He used the bag (for the last time . . . ) this summer. So, I would say that the bag is good for a child up to about 4'4". I would recommend it for your grandson. It will serve him well for a number of years.
