NICE! Reminds me of some of those at Sanborn; paddles I'd feel too pretty to USE (LOL)?

You're too pretty to use them, or the paddles are too pretty?? ;) Sanborn does make beautiful paddles. I have their Minnesota paddle in a straight shaft. I highly recommend them.

Gosh, I have an old sassafras paddle that's probably 50 years old in the barn. Been thinking of doing something with it myself? You're not planning on coming to MO are you? Where do you live? We have friends coming next month for the Ozark Rendezvous. I will NEVER EVER ship another paddle! Did so last week, and I think Amarillo Jim will verify it's definitely not worth the hassle to ship!

I make it to Duluth a couple times a year. Let me know if you grab them.

My wife would like to do some paddle painting...looking for a 'canvas' of older paddles retired from use. Anyone holding onto anything that fits the bill?

I've got 3-4 in Duluth, I won't be able to access them until the end of October.
Do you get up there much?
