That's pretty close to what I did after posting, except I started by looking up what is already included based on Portage99's vehicle description then compared to what the Prius would need. Naturally it would need different clips. Pass it along to Jackfish, I leave in the morning for the Gunflint and I'd be a bad person to try to close a sale with for the next ~10 days. |

quote mirth: "Wonder what the chances are they'd fit my 2005 Prius? if you google "Yakima Fit Guide" it will tell you which Q-Clips are needed for a 2005 Prius, the Yakima system for a naked roof - one with out any existing rails or slots for racks, use interchangeable Q-Towers and round bars. The towers accept different Q-clips to match roof and door profiles. If all else in is good shape all you'd have to buy are the new clips. |

Had a crashola and the car is toast. So, my old racks don't fit on my new car. These were Yakima racks for a 2005 Corolla. I bought them in @ 2006 or 2007. I have new plastic footie pads that I never even got to put on the racks. : ( Still in the bag. I live in Central Illinois. Anyone interested? If so, please private message. I can get you pix, details. |
