quote Grouseguy1: "I'll take the CCS bench seat pad" Unfortunately I literally just gave that away this morning to a guy who bought the pfds. Sorry--I hadn't received any interest in the pad and we move soon to a new temporary location, so I thought I'd give it since he thought he could use it. |

If you don't buy this one, as Charlie said, get one from Amazon. You'll be glad you did. The one offered is a fantastic deal, though. |

Just want to say, I loved the shelving with your gear in the picture of the Alps pad. I wish I was that my gear was so organized! |

quote bfurlow: "Wish you luck in your sale. All of those sound like solid items. Love my Warmers gloves. My secret is I found a free broken-down entertainment center off craigslist. And I much prefer organizing my camping gear/camera gear (and tools) to folding my clothes/cleaning the rest of the house... |

I am selling some more gear--I was holding on to some things I really liked but wasn't using much, but now that my wife and I have found out we'll be welcoming a baby loon into the family, it makes sense to sell the stuff I'm unlikely to use again (and especially the pointy objects that our little one could get hurt from). I'm located in the Milwaukee area. All prices quoted without shipping-- let me know where you live and I'll get you a quote. Unfortunately a few items are likely too large to ship--it's possible I have boxes, but the larger objects tend to cost an unreasonable amount to ship. If you're really determined I can look up the cost of shipping for you, but it may be cheaper to buy online where free/low-cost shipping is often offered. I'll probably need to rely on craigslist to sell those items, but I thought I'd list them here just in case anyone's interested. - Benchmade Bushcrafter fixed blade knife. Includes leather sheath, but I cut off the fire-starter holder (felt it got in the way). I ended up using my Gransfors more often as a knife and found the axe more versatile. The knife is in really nice shape. Asking $140 OBO. Would prefer to sell this to someone here rather than a stranger on craigslist... Bearvault BV 500. Brand new--I actually forgot I had it (apparently I had two). $50, but once again likely too big to ship. Lodge Reversible Cast Iron Griddle. Could use some cleaning, but cast iron lasts forever. Definitely too heavy to ship--would make more sense to buy it brand new online with free shipping. $20. General Ecology First Need Water Purifier, with Pelican 1150 case. Works great--we loved the water from this thing! Only used for two trips. $100. Yakima Outdoorsman half rack/half roof rack, with boatloader, gunwale brackets. (See last photo). Fits a Ford Ranger, but should work perfect with any small pickup, though you may need to buy different feet for the roof rack. Includes three 58'' round bars. Over $400 new and still looks great. Asking $160 for the set. Pick-up required. - CCS padded bench seat, green, great shape. Asking $15 - 2 ALPS Mountaineering Summit sleeping pads (we have dedicated thicker camping pads, so we haven't used these much, but we did write "His" and "Hers" on them!) $15 each. (I calculated shipping of these for another member--it's not worth the cost to ship these and you'd be better off buying them new if you can't pick them up) - Stohlquist men's Trekker life jacket small/medium. Great shape. Asking $40 - Stohlquist women's Cruiser life jacket x-small/small. Great shape. Asking $40 - Will sell pair for $50. - Two pairs of Warmers Barnacle Half Finger paddling gloves (one small, one medium). $10 each. Free with PFDs. Sorry, the portage pads in the same photo already sold. |

quote Oisinirish: "I'm interested in the saw and axe. My brother lives in Wauwatosa. What side of town are you? Yes--you can e-mail me by clicking on the little envelope below my username. The axe is potentially pending sale, but it sounds like the other buyer isn't going to be able to get the cash. I'm located in Milwaukee just south of Wauwatosa (92nd and Bluemound, just south of the Medical College). |

quote 3Ball: "I might be interested in the rack system if it would work with a polaris ranger. Could it be shipped, or perhaps held for later pickup when I get down that way if I pay something in advance? I am not sure if it will work with a polaris ranger--I'm not sure how big they are. If it's similar to a Ford Ranger then it should work ok. I do not think it would be economical to ship--the box would be very large and heavy. I could look into it, but I'd imagine it will cost quite a bit. Depending on when you'd be able to stop by I can hold it for you--I move to Seattle in late June, but I'll be in Milwaukee until then. |
