There should be 2 maps on the chip (MN Topo and BWCA Camps and Portages, from GPSFileDepot), but old Garmins with discontinued operating system like the GPS60 series will only display 1 map product per chip. Newer models, ETrex20 and GPS62 can display several maps from a single chip overlayed.

Unless I'm wrong you're, the next one on the mailing list..
Post up an address that you want the chip mailed to and I'll toss it in the mail Monday..
FYI, I put the micro chip in its adapter chip. That way it's harder to lose that little bugger when it falls out of its wrapper... I almost ended up tossing my office trying to find that thing...

I have a Garmin GPSmap 78....are these chips supposed to work on that? I have not been able to do anything with them, not even load them onto my Surface Book. What am I doing wrong?

As it turns out, Mike has a Windows PC and was able to download the file directly. On to the next name...
