Nice walleye! Bigger than any I got in my 12 years fishing there.

Well I just had my buddy that lives in California fly in to Wisconsin for 5 days to hit some early spring walleye. We worked together last summer in Alaska and were lucky enough to get to hang out again. The walleyes are still pre-spawn with water temps between 35-38, but it worked out perfect with him coming up over my spring break from UW-Madison. I'd take this fishing over a typical college spring break party on a beach! My buddies and I put him on a ton of shorts, a couple keepers, and 3 slot eyes at 20.5, 23, and a big momma at 27! We also spent a day over in LaCrosse puttin' a hurtin' on the perch! All week was windy and cold, but hella fun!

Have you been out yet??

Can you zoom out a bit more on your pics? I can't tell if you are below dresbach, trempeleau, or genoa. That one almost looks like dresbach in front of the best dam fishing float :)

I'm not here to keep secrets, it is dresbach!
