Me and my two daughters will be on Mountain the day before opener! Maybe we'll see you there and you can help us catch fish! We're new at this!

Iowa great lakes opener this past weekend. Mayfly hatch Saturday sometime....decent fishing Friday night, poor fishing Saturday night. Got the small one from Spirit Lake, the rest from Silver Lake near Lake Park, Iowa. Wader fishing

No BWCA for opener for me. Long family tradition of hitting Mille Lacs, so that's where I'll be. The bite ought to be crazy again this open water season. The keeping...not so much. Oh well, it should be fun. :)
