The bass were still out a ways from shore. Little bank runners could be found along the shore. No bass on the beds yet. Saw a few beds with nothing on them. Some bass were fat and looked ready to spawn, most others did not look close. They should all be getting close soon. Tube baits in green pumpkin and soft plastic jerk baits\ swim paddle baits in pearl continued to work well. Topwater fishing was still slow, but should be coming on.
Didn't fish for any other species on Basswood, so I have no input on them.
