Can you fly fish from a paddle board?

Hey everyone!

Planning my first trip to the boundary waters over the course of the next week. Have always heard great things about the area and am excited for the trip. Not planning a canoe trip unfortunately, but staying around the Sawbill Outposts for a few days. Will be going with my girlfriend and would like for her to catch her first fish on a fly rod.

I have a ton of fly gear. Rods, reels, lines (floating and intermediate sinking). Tons of flies.

If i'm around Sawbill what are my best options for fishing? We'll have standup paddleboards and will rent a canoe for one day. Also not unwilling to drive to another lake or short portage some areas with the paddleboards to catch some fish.

Suggestions?

Thanks guys.

Put on a popper in the evening and work around likely looking, rocky, weedy, woody areas and you'll catch bass.
