Do you have a flasher? Like a marcum or vexilar... that to me is #1. Drop a small ice fishing jig down tipped with a small minnow or wax worm jig a little, watch for the red lines to come up to your jig then slowly work the jig upward to entice them to bite. I’veworked Fish 10’ before they will bite. Ya gotta figure out what wiggle it takes...more or less... to make them bite. If no red lines then move. If they won’t bite go smaller or bigger. Crappies bite best just as the sun comes up or down. Perch bite better during the day or an hour or two before sunrise or sunset. Lots of other things to try but those are my basics.
