Curtis Creek Manifesto is a great book written comic book style that cuts fly fishing down to size and simplifies it. Written by a guy who called himself the eternal foe of the work ethic. Sadly he had a serious drinking problem and is now dead. Very funny book and you will learn how to fish the flies. |

When I started, I watched a video called "fly fishing made easy," scientific anglers put it out, it's cheesy now when I watch it, but it really helped me get into it. I think it's on youtube. I started at our cabin growing up. Now that I've brought beginners on the streams, I realize that fishing for panfish at the cabin was a perfect place to learn and practice casting, you can make all the mistakes you want without any trees or weeds around you to tangle up in. there are many streams in western wisconsin that are close, and they have a lot of trout. Good Luck! |

Paddling and Fly fishing are the only two things (mentionable) that I' never grow tired of. So many ways to go about this topic. Kent |
