Has anyone had any luck for walleyes on ogish in the spring? Headed there the last week of may.

Also, what campsites are good?

Thanks

I always fish the south end of lake for walleyes. You will likely catch a lot of SMB while fishing eyes. You may or may not like that. We stay on islands for bug reasons. But bugs shouldn't be an issue in May

Daryll whats up!?

Depends on the fishing. If we find some good walleye fishing and a couple lakers then we will probably stay on ogish. If its crap we will push on to eddy and try for some big pike.

Schock knows that area as well as anybody, so I'm sure he'll point you in the right direction fishing wise .

Campsite wise - most of the sites are fairly decent but, the island site (Just out from the portage to Mueller) and the site nearest the portage to Spice Lake are a couple of favorites.
