Yes, Louis and Alrus have stream trout, Basswood has Lakers.

Honestly, the western BWCA is fairly limited on good lake trout lakes. The only Lakers I have caught in Basswood have been in North Bay, although I have heard of a few in other places on Basswood.

I am not aware of Lake trout in any lake on your route. I think there is a lake off Mudro/Fourtown that might have Brook Trout in it. Alrus??

No lake trout in THAT Crooked Lake. East side Crooked lake has lakers. I guess there are lakers in Basswood.

Going in first week of June, Mudro to lower Basswood Falls up around Crooked Lake back down through Four town. Any chance of finding some lake trout on this trip? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
