I have been fishing Loon Lake for a few years now and I am wondering how far are you able to go into the Little Indian Souix?

To the best of my knowledge, no motors are allowed on the LIS river. The Nat Geo maps for the BWCA indicate the hp limit and boundary for motors. You can travel Loon however. I've seen houseboats docked at campsites on Loon the last time I was up there.

When you go into the river there is no sign like there is on other parts of the lake. I don’t want to break any rules but we were at the bottom of devils cascade

Last time I was there we pulled up the motor and walked over a few boulders and fished a deep hole on the other side of a beaver dam

There are no motors allowed on Little Indian Sioux, including the area outside of the BWCA south of the Echo trail.
