At what depth and with what tactic do you think I'll find the LT? I regret to say I've never caught one, but had the pleasure of watching my wife reel in two from about 60' of water the same week last year. I'm bringing a variety of tactics to assure success, at least I think. - Last year we had luck on small chubs on a three way swivel, dragging them about 5' above the bottom. We'll be bringing minnows and small chubs once again. - My bro had luck casting and jigging a castmaster suspended at about 30' in 60' of water. I have one or two to try. - I'm bringing several varieties of deep Rapalas and have two new rod holders, as well as a few spoons for trolling them - I've installed a new depth finder to find the holes Needless to say, I'm motivated to find them and this can only end in success (defined as any catch worth eating or too big to keep) or it will end in sheer failure/frustration (skunked). WHERE WILL I FIND THEM?!?!?!?! |
