I just got back yesterday from my first ever trip, a 7 day mudro loop through crooked. We had a little success with the fish but nothing to write home about. I will post a trip report over the weekend if i have the time... Im going camping. My question is, has anyone had a good fishing guide for a trip? I want to take some family up either this fall or next summer and want to be able to make the bwca a regular part of my life. Learning how to find the fish up there is a must for me. Paying a guide to help in this regard is something im willing to do, i just want to make sure they will be knowledgeable and friendly. Any recommendations on guides or outfitters to try? It doesnt matter where, echo trail or gunflint areas, i just want to enjoy the experience. Good knowledge of edible plants, history, geology etc are bonuses. Also good with kids as my 8 year old nephew will be a member of the party Thanks in advance! |
