My friend's birthday. He is an experienced fisherman. I think that baitcasting reels will be the best gift for him. I'm not an expert, so I ask you to help me choose the best of the best.
My buddy says the best review is Best Baitcasting Reels. I think I'll choose something from here. What do you say?

What's your budget and are you looking for any more friends? :)
I've had an Abu Garcia Black Max baitcaster and I absolutely love it. I had a budget of $100 and almost every person I talked to said to save $50 and get the Black Max. It's not the sexiest reel out there but it gets the job done when its dialed in. FWIW I played with the Diawa Tatula SV and its silky smooth and casts like a dream

I am partial to Lews Tournament Pro reels. I own several as well as some other big name baitcast reels. The TP has been flawless for me and I fish them about 200 days a year.
There are a lot of good options out there, but I’m sticking with the TP as my go-to reels.
