I am planning a trip into Moose Lake in the Eastern BWCA for Lake Trout/ Walleye opener, and I am wondering if anyone has intel on the LT quality in Moose.
I have taken day trips into Mountain (it's neighbor) and caught buckets of small LT, but I am hoping to stay on Moose and find some lakers. Any info helps.
Thanks!

I might be traveling through Moose at the same time. I'd like to know about laker fishing as well. Wish I could help! Maybe call an outfitter and see if you can pick up any info...

Hope you are enjoying your trip! I'm heading in that direction first week of June. I've read some good things but not much details.

Well, with no replies and my trip starting tomorrow, I am going to assume that since no one answered, it must be an under fished lake. Should hold some monsters!

Curious how the trip went? We are doing the eastern boarder lakes in the near future, any suggestions?

Trip update.
It was a great trip but I couldn't find much for fish on Moose. I few smallmouth but I am not super excited about smallmouth especially when I am expecting a nice Laker. Overall Moose is a nice lake. We found a few Lakers on Mountain though.
