a little off topic ,(waiting for good ice) i mainly tip up fish in the winter and these are the type of jigs i use , some are custom colors using fingernail polish. i even give them names ,
(Exp) my new purple 1 is called viking thunder , these are my spares , i have 10 more already on tip ups ;) i usually change out the split rings on these and hooks , on my very big pike set ups i use some large hooks for 8"-9" suckers , 20lb XT mono leaders on those flags , others for walleyes generally #10-#12 lb test. i run bigger baits than most and those bigger females (walleyes) want a substantial meal , not a little baby crappie or fat head minnow ;)
i do have some videos on youtube both ice & BW (proof is in the pics ;) )
