I would bring them, theres always going to be times when fish are active and will prefer a crankbait over live bait, dont limit yourself have both along.

I generally bring quite a few deep divers with me in early June and no live bait. I'm going up the first week of September and this time I'm bringing leeches. Are the usual 10 deep diver going to be a waste of valuable space this time of year?
