Can you catch fish in the pools below the rapids in the Boulder River all summer, or is this merely a May/June phenomenon?

The dahlgren river in general is pretty cool, seemed remote and less traveled. Hoped to see a moose there but didn't, lots of waterfowl. The little falls is a nice site.

Passsing out of the north end of Agnes and heading to Boulder Bay are there any waterfalls or rapids along the Boulder River?

I believe there are 3 sets of rapids through the Boulder River. We caught a few walleyes at the small rapids just south of the 24 rod portage.

There are a couple spots where water runs though some rapids, and the pools below each rapids hold fish. I love the Boulder River!
