I am interested in trying tipdowns on the ice. Anyone use them? what kind? Thanks

Not a tip down but have pretty good luck with the ht ice troller

My ice fishing buddy uses them for crappies mostly. Not sure of the brand......just the cheap wooden frame ones. They seem fairly effective. I think he sets a bobber stop at the water surface to mark and reset his depth. They do blow over in the wind so maybe one of the shorter metal ones would cure that little issue.
