yes the season ended way to soon :( took the shack off the lake 2 weeks ago today, walked out for my last time last saturday and got rewarded ;)

I reluctantly put away the ice fishing gear today. If you listened close, you could hear taps playing in the background. On the plus side, while I was digging around, I got the turkey hunting gear out.

We've had open water all year here. I didn't even get mine out. :(

It was the most abrupt end if the ice fishing season I have every seen. One week, there were tons of shacks and guys driving on the lake, five days later, nothing.
