Hopefully this isn't a repost, even though this video is over a year old I've never seen it. I've seen some random videos of folks trying this in Hawaii, but this is the first I've seen someone attempt it in the BWCA:

same here. It's almost like this is some kinda of joke-- but I don't think so. If that is a bobber on the ice fishing rod--- oh boy--- maybe it's a visual aide/weight ---as why would one need a bobber under water???
