Been reading on the site for a while but finally joined. I recently saw what appears to be a really good deal so thought I'd pass it on, Mills Fleet Farm has the wenonah 17' Kevlar ultra light canoe on clearance sale for $1699.00,

I stopped by the Menomonie store yesterday and the sporting goods guy said that a number of store had some in stock. He said to call ahead and give it a look. Some of the display models get banged up a bit. They were discontinued two years ago, so they must finally be trying to get rid of the last of them.

The Oakdale store has a display model. Sounds like they'll discount it even more as a result. Someone get over there and check it out.

That sounds almost too good to be true. Has anyone had experience with this canoe?

Just checked availability and I find the boat available in their Oshkosh WI store which is about 2.5 hours away for me. Too bad I don't need a boat.
