quote mastertangler: "A man after my own heart.........I like organization and I like using materials and tooling at hand to implement my ideas. If you knew how ugly my paddling partner is you would appreciate why the rods are blocking my view in front! When I hook a monster fish, I try not to walk around in the canoe too much......maybe I should put guard railings up! "I'm just kidding too"..... I almost always fish alone and a monster fish has yet to be hooked in this canoe.............................maybe this year? Yes the FishonFishoff is appropriate in my case.LOL FOFO |

But sometimes the finished product has unintended consequences. You will come to these realizations soon enough but for the sake of discussion why not toss them around. My first objection would be astetics. Do I really want 4 poles sticking up in the air in front of my face? But obscuring the view aside I see the bow paddler reaching back to make a cast and, well, you get the picture. But my biggest objection is popping a big fish which wants to take me around the boat. An unobstructed pathway is absolutely a requirement and not optional. But with a moniker like "FishonFishoff" it is probably fitting. OK, I'm messin with you a bit and hopefully you will take it in a good humor (as it is intended). But other than that it's a great job (which is like saying "Mrs Lincoln liked everything about the play but one thing") |
