I discovered that my Fillo pillow had a slow leak in it last year a couple weeks before leaving to go backpacking in NM. I emailed them my situation and Nemo turned it around and sent my pillow case complete with improved bladder inside the day after they received it. Had my pillow back in time to go on the trip and slept very well because of it. Good customer service!

Some air pads seem to take for ever to blow up. My only gripe is with how narrow the pad is. It kept me warm and off the ground on a few freezing (32F) nights."
I have always wondered why they don't make sleeping pads a bit wider, unless you also need a Long. Looked up this NEMO Tensor and, what do you know, they make a wide pad in not only Long, but in Regular length too. It looks good, and I may have to start saving up for this. Looks like it's a lot easier to inflate than my Exped DLX, which I never bring on trips because I hate how long it takes to inflate. (I like my Thermarest..only a few seconds to inflate...but now & then you want something a bit cushier) The NEMO Tensor looks pretty nice.

Hey thanks for the NEMO shout out. I am a diehard NEMO fan. I sent my LOSI 3p in because of stitching issues and they repaired it very quickly and professionally.
I am stoked that you got the Cosmo. I too own a Cosmo insulated 25L that I have had for 2 years; Last week I sold my Nemo TUO and ordered a Cosmo insulated 30XL to replace the Tuo. THE MOST comfortable pad I have ever had the privilege to sleep on. Nemo stuff is lifetime warrantied.

Nemo cosmo insulated 25L/30XL
I sent them a "thank you" message for the quality of their gear and my complete satisfaction.. A few days after that they sent me a box of goodies which blew me away- a mug, hat, wallet, spoon and fork, stickers. Awesome company, im a lifetime fan.

I am also a huge fan of Nemo. In addition to the Cosmo, I have a Losi 3, fillo, and a Strato Loft bag. The bag is the bomb; I cannot sleep in mummy bags, and the Strato is perfect!

Yep, great stuff for sure. I use to get allot of push back on this site 5-6 years ago when I first got turned onto them. Lots of peoples jaws dropped when I said I liked my Cosmo pad better than my Expeds of the time, same with the tents. I was pushing the Losi 3P as a great Canoe Camp tent and got lots of flack for not going along with the Taj3 crowd (where is that tent now?). Years later I still think of all my stuff as amazing gear. The Stratoloft bag was life changing for me, just the absolute perfect bag for me. Something about that hood design just works for this guy, duel zippers and stretch construction are huge bonuses as well. I use to wear my Nemo shirt (that they sent me for free) to every wing night just to rub Jan a little, he wasn't big on Nemo, thought the stuff was kind of a flash in the pan trendy stuff. In reality the draw is based on it being REALLY great gear is a pleasure (key word there) to use. I had never heard about it until I got my Losi which was made completely based of specs (light weight, straight side walls, high MM WP floor rating)
Make no mistake, they are playing with a stacked deck. Last time I looked at the bios of their group I saw engineering degrees from MIT and design degrees from Rhode Island, both considered to be the best of the best in their prospective disciplines. If I remember a few members of the original core team had experience in engineering and design roles and I truly think that was a huge advantage as commonly in product development the engineers and designers partake in somewhat adversarial roles. Lots of time spent by engineers "killing dreams" while just as much time is wasted by designers chasing concepts that are completely unfeasible. A well meshed team can be incredibly potent and constructive.

After a week of mostly rain, I got home from my last trip and tossed my tired old Sierra Design tent in the garbage can and started looking around. I wavered between two, and in the end I went with the Losi 3, in no small part to the glowing comments on this post and a few others I found.

I have had a Nemo Cosmo XL 30 for 3 years. Somehow it developed a slow leak that I could not locate, so I sent it in for repair. Rather than repair it, Nemo sent a new pad. This is my first experience with their customer service department, and they were very easy to work with and more than accommodating. Will continue to support this company!

Good to hear since our primary tent and my sleeping bag and a few other odds and ends are NEMO. Have had good luck with all their gear except one tent, a Frontier 3. Every piece of NEMO gear in the funky green color were great.
