I've built over a dozen canoes and used Raka on almost all of them. I'm not saying it's better than anything else because I don't have much experience with the others but I can say that it works fine. No complaints.
I like keeping the non-blush (slowest available) and fast hardeners on hand. For jobs where I need more working time I use the non-blush and for small things when I don't want to wait hours for the resin to get hard I use the fast. You can mix the hardeners to adjust working time to whatever you want.

Anyone use the MAS epoxy for recoating or repairs? It seems less expensive than West, is sold by West, seems to be what's used by the Chesapeake Light Craft company, and is recommended by Souris River for repairs. When I look for reviews, Raka seems to get the best reviews actually. Any experience with Raka?

I've used Raka on my cedar strip, has a faint yellowish tint but other than that I had no issues with it. Found it a bit cheaper in price than West or MAS, but that was a few years ago.

+1. I've used Raka on 2 boats, and US Composites for one. Raka was way better to work with.
