I was on the Nemo site just looking at tents, pads, and bags when I noticed they have a product called the Puffin. It is blanketesque (advertised as a blanket) and it looks big enough to cover a full grown adult at 60" x 86". I was just wondering if they were any good for camping. I guess this thread would be kind of related to the sleeping bag vs quilt thread but more specialized.

I've got a puffin blanket and they are nice, but unless it was a warm night, I wouldn't use it instead of a sleeping bag. They're great for lounging in a hammock when it's a cool day or sitting around the fire.

That's kind of what I was thinking it would be for but the warmth factor is nice to know about. Thank you for the quick response.
