Couldn't you just flip it under instead of letting air it when portaging?

Housty9, are you able to attach it to your seat? If so, how?

Thanks Housty9. Letting the air out is a good idea.

quote Northwoodsman: "Housty9, are you able to attach it to your seat? If so, how?" There's 2 spots on the back where you can tie it on, on portages we let air out and roll up and put where old seat cushions were in crazy creek seat backs, only take a few breath to fill back up, don't want a tree limb to put a hole in it.

Love this seat cushion, works way better than foam, yes there a little spendy but my butt loves it, plus should be able to use for a pillow in the tent and for sitting around camp.

quote pswith5: "Couldn't you just flip it under instead of letting air it when portaging?" Never let the air out the whole time, left mine on the seat all the time, front seat we just pulled straps to bring back down so I could see better.

quote Northwoodsman: "Housty9, are you able to attach it to your seat? If so, how?" we used shoe laces, then we used them for pillows in the tent.

I'll never use a foam pad again, 1st trip I've been on where my butt never hurt once and we traveled 6 out of 7 days, very highly recommended, love them, filled once and never filled again til we let the air out for the way home.
