Where are the stores you go to? I'm trying to complete my set of stained Tupperware!"
Let us not forget the dishwasher warped series!
Awesome finds though. We hit a salvation army a few months back and scored a couple nice packs. One was a Gregory and the other a blackhawk medical pack. $1.99 on all packs that day. Freakin score!

A Canadian friend of mine who lives in Toronto in a genrifiving neighborhood routinely finds high end outdoor gear and clothing. It might help to watch the resale shops in such areas.

Over the years I have found some good things other than the stained Tupperware. Once found two of the Woody's Dutch Ovens. Plus got all the stuff for my Jello Mold Oven there. Also lots of clothing like Patagonia, North Face, REI and Mountain Hardwear.

We were out of town and stopped at a bunch of Goodwill and other thrift stores the other day. I usually find nothing at them however this time I found all sorts of great outdoor gear. At the first one I found an Otterbox dry box ($5.99)and 2- 48 inch Thermarest pads( $4.99 ea). The next place had an ENO Doublenest hammock ($6.99) and a Coleman Propane Stove ($4.99) The next place had a kids canoe paddle ($6.99) and a two pack of Tech Wash and Direct wash in waterproofing ($2.99).

Wife loves going in them and I usually follow. I too have found Patagonia,REI and other top notch clothing along with some nice Coleman Canoe Chairs. My best find was a pair of Rossignol skis for $9.99 that are worth well over $400. It's not for everyone but you just never know what you may find.....

Nice finds OF57! I used to prowl often but gave up after not finding anything good for a while. Like Nozzlenut says, stained tupperware. I remember when I used to find good wool pants and Pendleton shirts. No more thanks to stupid Ebay.

Last week I was in our local Goodwill and found some awesome, well made sweaters that were labeled Voyager, made in minnesota. I also found a couple old flannel shirts that were in great shape, and they said made in Ely Minnesota. Don't know if they were 10 years old, or 40 years old, but all were in perfect shape, the flannels were "almost" broken in if you know what I mean. The sweaters looked brand new.

We had good luck at the Madison Goodwill(s) during Canoecopia time frame, mainly camping or sporting goods. Our local Goodwill doesn't usually have much to offer, but they do have stained Tupperware.

I picked up a large duluth pack at a garage sale yesterday for $20. I was pretty happy with that price.
