You add the pads you to the yoke. I added some Bourquin pads. I am partial to Bourquin portage pads made in Ely, MN. Superior is another portage pad brand that is also top quality. Bourquin Portage Pads You can also get a nice portage yoke from Oak Orchard Canoe. Oak Orchard Canoe Clamp-on Portage Yoke |

Just type in "Clamp-on Portage Yoke" in the Oak Orchard "product search" section of the link in previous post and hit "GO" and you will see the yoke I am talking about. Sorry it took 3 posts to get you where I was trying to direct you. |

quote billconner: "I got mine at Springcreek and am very pleased with it." Spring Creek was bought out by Duluth Pack. You can try at Duluth Pack, but maybe Piragis or northwest canoe. |

I am looking for a padded portage yoke for old town solo pack canoe. I am looking for places to buy one. The Old Town site does not have padded yokes. Thanks Caw |
