Most of the stuff I really want is more than $100.00. I have most of the small stuff, but things like map case, compass, good tent stakes/cordage, headlamp, waterproof compression stuff sacks, shirts, pants, socks, hats, gloves, insulating layers, wind shell are things that could be on the list and you might find something really nice on sale for $100.

Gravity Water Filter, might have to look a bit to be under the $100 but doable. Lots of threads on options and likes / dislikes.

Down/apex booties from Enlightened would be nice. A ridgeline stuff sack along with ridgeline would also be cool.

I'd go with the GSI Bugaboo cookset. It's around $100.

With the holidays coming, let's get some help! Assuming most everyone here is a tripper, within a reasonable budget, say $100.00, what would be your one perfect Christmas gift to either receive or give? Gift cards don't count. I'm looking for great ideas for perhaps all of us!

Redheads art in short supply. Besides they are more than $100.00 when you count in the maintenance. On a more practical nature for me is to get or give a replacement single Colman burner to cook with.

My grandpa won a pair of these in a golf tournament and frankly they look like fantastic socks. That would make me happy.

Or $100 toward a new hiking pack (I'd pay the rest).

I actually kinda already bought myself a Christmas present- some Altai Hok skis.

Great socks are the best thing, especially for wet-footers like me... I would love a great headlamp..

If Santa knew the right size, he could probably find some Muck Wetland boots under the budget.

Sounds good......Double wall, solves all the problems associated with Titanium cups. They are fragile (easily bent) and coffee gets cold almost instantly. "
you know, I like my coffee HOT but I still drink it pretty fast. Trying to decide if I need a 40 dollar coffee cup.

My old "freebie" insulated plastic mug keeps my coffee plenty hot, Pete, and weighs less than 5 oz.

A Sony FDR X3000 and/or Olympus TG-5. Primus Omnifuel would be neat, but I'd really like to have better, more durable means of capturing photos and video. I know these exceed the $100 budget, but I struggle to think of anything like that. CCS thwart bag maybe? SJ4000 action cam I guess?

With that budget, I'd ask for (2) 10 liter dromendary bags

I doubt anyone has everything. And even if so the little things, mostly mentioned, such as cordage, snake skins, compression sacks, something titanium to cook with/on and always come in handy. After all, who has too many stuff sacks? or quality socks?

If 40 or so folks give me $100, I can get the new Swift Keewaydin 17 tandem I want.

A new leatherman, I lost my Wave on a hunting trip this fall. I've thought of trying to find someone with a metal detector because I know its laying in a fairly small area and would prefer to find it before I drop $75 on a new one.
