It's a very fair price for a lightly used Royalex Morningstar. They stopped making royalex boats so good used ones gained a bit of desirability plus the Morningstar paddles really nicely for a Royalex boat...it's a sweetheart. It's even relatively light for a Royalex tandem. So maybe you offer 700 or 750 and if you end up paying full price it's still a good deal, especially with decent paddles.

That's about right for a price.

Hey all, this forum has been a really great resource for me as I start to outfit my canoe tripping gear, looking forward to contributing to the forum. I'm currently looking at some used canoe and one is standing out to me. It's a Bell Morningstar in Royalex, looks to be from about 2008 or so. Hasn't been used much. It's listed for $800 with two ottertail paddles. Is this a fair price? From what I could gather the retail price was ~$1300. Thanks in advance.
