Anyone have one of these? If so, please comment about its features, carrying comfort, and dimensions. Thanks.

These are identical to the former Woods Mason pack. Woods no longer makes or sells packs, but these are the same pack, except that they are blue instead of green.

I have two of the Woods Mason, and my friend has two of these North 49 which we took last month to the BW. They are excellent packs for the money. They are NOT the same strength and quality as similar Granite Gear and CCS packs, but with care they will last many years of trips. I replaced my old Duluth pack with one about 5 years ago and have never looked back.

I had to make a few modifications to make the pack as functional as I wanted, but it was not difficult. I don't know the exact dimensions, but they are plenty large, and hold all my personal gear and then some. Nicely adjustable for carrying, with a good waist belt.

More than large enough for me, never filled it to capacity. Al. stays and suspension similar to an internal frame backpack, load adjusters on belt and to the top flap. Lots of adjustments. I removed the mesh pockets from the sides, didn't need them and they were a bother in a solo canoe. Light weight material for construction, but never failed on me. Comfortable to carry. Lots of lift handles/straps. Large extendable collar and top flap to cover it.
Woods Mason pack.
