Seems like a Titanium Esbit or a Trangia would work just as well at a fraction of the cost.

I use the cheap (less than $10) little Esbit pocket stove with a pack of solid fuel as back up, the entire thing fits nicely in the surplus French military small rectangular mess kit. Sometimes it’s nice to have a 2nd burner.

I found a UK supplier here... Link In stainless steel it is $37 uk. So sounds like about $50 us plus shipping maybe another $20. Are you talking about a stainless steel or Titanium stove? Looks like this stove has a lot of pieces. Why not just get a canister stove? My SnoPeak Titanium stove weighs only 1.9 oz, without the fuel bottle. And it will cook for about an hour on one bottle. Only $55.00, Just a thought.

I've never heard of these stoves in the OP. Look pretty decent in the link though.
I like that Esbit. I probably should start looking into a back-up stove someday. You state it fits nicely in the surplus French mess kit. Is the stove French? Come with a kit? or seperate items that work together. I'll have to look that up.

Esbit is/was german military surplus from WWII although they still build the same stove. The mess kit is French Military surplus they just so happen to fit nicely together. I guess i'm not the only one that thinks this and there are often sold together as a set on ebay. Search "French Mess Kit" The stove i'm talking about is not the micro Esbit Titanium Stove although they both use the same solid fuel.

I have been looking and the Honey or bees knees stove looks great as a back up stove , problem is there $200 or more to get here anyone know of a US supplier or anyone used one??

An excellent point I will also have a MSR Dragonfly stove also I am looking for a back up what could handle wood, or other smaller stoves like Trangia Vargo etc.

I have a Spenton Wood Gas Stove that I purchased from Evans Outdoor Products in Iowa.
I originally purchased it as my primary stove, for BWCA trips, it works well but you have to keep feeding it from the top (every couple of minutes) with small pieces of wood/twigs to keep the fire going, it is too much to fuss with for me for the overall size of the unit and benefit, and is really useless for anything other than boiling water. When it is burning it is like a small blast furnace. It is now stored in my 72 hour emergency prep box in the basement.
So, I switched back to my MSR gas canister and use the Esbit solid fuel as a backup. The solid fuel will burn in most any environmental condition, The Esbit with 6 fuel tablets will make three boiled meals for two, and I figured I could always build a fire, and skewer a couple chipmunks if I was just down to available wood and trying to survive.

Thank you for the link but trying to stay light and small, I will be going for a week with wife and 2 daughters so light and small are better for me . to date the Vargo Triad in titanium fits the bill and I could bring a trangia also still less than a pound, main stove will be a MSR dragonfly

I was looking for a stove that could and would use wood!!!
so the nesbit is nice but another fuel as where you can find twigs etc?
