Yeah, thanks guys.....I'd really like to be able to use the tonneau and racks together.....worse comes to worse, I'll get the adarac or the trac rac.....I would just prefer the Spring Creek because of the ability to adjust the height.....hopefully someone on here has both and will chime in.....

I've had great luck with the spring creek suction cup for over the cab,and the spring creek hitch mount. My cover does not come into play with this system. Bought a double receiver so I can still haul both canoe and boat if I choose.

Apology for posting on this old thread, just needing a bed cover as well. I don't see a need for a rack but might getting it soon. Having hard time choosing among tonneau covers available. I sometimes haul tall stuffs so the extra space is needed, and needs to keep most of the rain water out as well. Anyone those tri-fold type of cover? TIA

There have been several threads this Summer about truck racks and several people mentioned Spring Creek Outfitters different racks.....Has anyone used the rack system with their rails in conjunction with a tonneau cover on a pick up truck? I spoke to Chuck at Spring Creek and he claims their rail system even though it uses clamps instead of the bed rail post holes can/has been used with certain tonneau covers, but he couldn't remember which ones....Is anyone on here doing that and if so, which tonneau cover are you using? I like the Spring Creek because the height is adjustable as opposed to the Adarack or the Tracrac both which attach to the top of the bedrail thru the post holes and i know are compatible with various tonneau covers...I contacted customer service at a couple of the bigger tonneau cover companies, but unfortunately none of them are familiar with the Spring Creek stuff....

Thanks,

Mike

I have a 2014 Ford 150 and a Truxedo Lo Pro Tonneau cover.

Several years ago I bought a Spring Creek Outfitters One Tuff Rack. I really like it. Unfortunately, I have to remove the Truxedo when I want to put on my canoe rack. The C clamps that came with the rack are not wide enough to fit around the tonneau cover hardware. It is simple to remove and put back on.

Maybe there are some wider clamps that can be found.

Maybe Ben "NCTRY" will chime in. He uses them, a lot!
Very good looking truck rack setup, but I never used myself, had an fg cap with gutter mounted bars.
