This looks like it could be a winner.
Anyone have any experience with this yet?
I like the responsiveness of a cable drive so I've never liked the motor controlled units.
How responsive is the cable drive on this one?

I think it's a bit of overkill for your canoe. ;-)



Seriously though, I like the specs. I've got a Terrova 80 on my Lund Impact 1875 and like it a lot. I would prefer the lift assist and cable drive, but what I have works fairly well, and if I upgrade again, my wife might finally leave me.

My Dad has the Terrova 80 for his Crestliner...sounds like the same one Rackwrangler has and it is great...the Ultrex is a big step up from the Terrova.


I assume this is for a regular boat? I am not sure how to report on the responsiveness. I thought the Power drive was pretty responsive...the Ultrex would be better with more power it would be more responsive. The bells and whistles of being able to switch from foot pedal control to remote control--iPilot and I love the anchor feature once you get used to it.
