Entering via Clay lake and Greenwood creek, Waiwiag River to Kawnipi for the first time. We will be paddling from Clay thru Kawnipi Russell Sturgeon to Lac LaCroix

I am aware that the Greenwood creek entry is dependent on water levels. That the alternative is flying into Mack Lake.

I am interested am hearing any advice and and stories about both Clay thru Greenwood Creek and Mack Lake to the Waiwiag.

I imagine if one route is low on water the other is low on water. Which is the preferred route?

Any info on either of these two entries would be much appreciated.
