quote plexmidwest: "For privacy, the southwest site is probably most secluded as maxxbhp said, although small. The location to the small falls from Ottertrack to Knife is prime at this site. The north east site of that bunch of four is a nice site. It is not elevated and not secluded if the site the the south east is occupied. But it is sprawling and you have a lot of tent pad options ans great views. We had all of Ottertrack to ourselves for a week last year at this time. John"
I wish that portage was a campsite

Privacy is kinda subjective in that area, all those camps are pretty close together. The one farthest east is out, it's pretty wide open. Of the other 4 there's not a tremendous difference. Probably the one farthest south and the last one, just before the Knife portage, would be best. Also, that place is not famous for great landing spots, steep terrain, not much anybody can do about it.

Amen maxxbhp, I'd camp there, that moving water really produces allot of fish.
