You were right! The Moose River dropped probably a foot from the time we entered to the time we exited. The beavers had not rebuilt any dams, but they were submerged when entering and exposed when we left.

Anyone been in yet? I'm curious how the river is flowing and what the beaver dam situation is looking like?
Thanks!

Pull over or float over will have a lot to do with:
1. How much stuff is in your canoe to weigh it down? 2. How many small sticks or things that could damage the canoe in each spot? 3. Is it a rental canoe or your own? 4. Is it a more "fragile" canoe or a canoe that takes abuse easier, like an ABS canoe?

lol well it will be your canoe John/Lynn (Quetico Souris River), and I promise that we won't be ramming any beaver dams! I was just wondering if anyone had been in yet and noticed if the beavers had been especially busy this spring with the high water levels.
See you on the 6th!

Thanks GL, I'm wondering if they'll be pull over or float over dams with all of the rain?
