Got news for ya, but a juvenile bear does NOT weigh 200-250 pounds...try half that weight...most 80-125#. Heck, the average bruin in Minnesota is only 150 pounds. One of the toughest animals in the wild to judge size and just like the proverbial 21" smallie, almost ALWAYS over-estimated. Every bear looks big and scary. LOL!


Anyway, bear season just 6 weeks off so keep the bear reports coming! I still haven't finalized my spot.

Yes, I noticed that also. I see it more as the size of the nuisance is not necessarily correlated to the size of the bear!
